What is this Greenpeace's Whaling Campaign all about?
Whaling is making our friendly whales extinct by the number of whales being reduced. Greenpeace helps to prevent this by campaigning that commercial whaling must stop.
Greenpeace is slowly and steadly working towards an end to whaling in the Southern Oceean Whale Sanctuary through thier ongoing work in Japan to expose the corruption enshrined in Japan’s whaling industry. Two Greenpeace activists known as 'The Tokyo Two' were convicted after having exposed a whale-meat embezzlement scandal there and Greenpeace is currently involved in an appeal process.
